A New Sith, or Revenge of the Hope

For a long time after the release of the first Star Wars trilogy, I would bore anyone who stood still long enough with my theory that the three films were actually the story of how R2D2 saved the galaxy.

This article uses the prequel trilogy to take this theory further, but I'm glad to finally discover someone who agrees with me.

I watched this again on DVD the other day, and its just as stunning. In fact, its better the second time because I thought less about the obvious technical aspects and more about the film itself. What I also hadn't spotted before is the excellent sound. The DVD extras also showed that a lot of post-production was involved: not just the obvious colour balancing but also some subtle digital effects.
