The Parallax View (1974)

The Parallax View (1974)

Good, taut 70s paranoia. Not up to the standard of Pakula's All The President's Men, but gripping nontheless. And another chance to ask my favourite question: why hasn't Warren Beatty made more movies? Since the high point of Reds there have been six: two were turkeys, one was a cartoon adaptation and a couple simply weren't good. Only Bulworth stands up, although that was badly mis-sold as a comedy. It's not as if he's doing anything else with his time, is it?
